Monster Trucks

This was such a fun cake to make! My son turned 3 in Sept. & he wanted a monster truck cake!

The cake itself was devils food chocolate, 2 tiered (4 layered) with chocolate buttercream icing. Homemade marshmallow fondant covered it with crushed Oreos & a homemade checkered flag pennant on top with of course a monster truck!

He saw the cake & his eyes lit up & he said "COOOOL!!" He loved it!

I also made some huge solid milk chocolate monster trucks as the party favors! The picture isn't the best but they were VERY yummy! The were wrapped up in a cello bag & ready to go.

Also made were marshmallow pops with milk chocolate & chocolate sprinkles!

Cake Smash Photo Session

A local photographer asked me to make her a cake smash cake for a client! She gave me her idea & the colors & voila! :) I LOVE the colors! Isn't he adorable?!?

Class of 2014!

My daughter graduated 5th grade in June. Her mascot was the "Sharks". Blue & Gray are their school colors & well, green & blue are her favorite colors :)

Cupcakes were homemade "funfetti" cake with a homemade buttercream.

Frozen Party!

My daughter turned 8 & guess what party she wanted?? Yep! Frozen!

Her cake was a homemade funfetti double layer cake with homemade marshmallow fondant, homemade buttercream & gumpaste snowflakes/flowers & snowballs. On top was Olaf of course!

Cupcakes were also homemade funfetti cake with homemade lavender buttercream icing.

I also made marshmallow pops! These are a HUGE hit with every party!

This party was such a hit! :)
